The Bridgeport Trout Tournament 2013
We are in our tenth full year and have been directly responsible for stocking thousands of browns and rainbows into our local Bridgeport fisheries. The amount of browns caught in Bridgeport at last year's opening weekend caused a buzz throughout the Sierra. Many of the 14-18 inch browns landed came directly from our two certified clean facilities. The Paradise Shores and Virginia Creek Settlement Projects are open to the public. Our caring volunteers are growing trout year round in modified tomato bins that are easy to approach, take pictures of, and feed.
We have two major events that provide the Foundation with tax deductible donations. The Bridgeport Trout Tournament on June 22nd, 2013 is a family focused event that includes a goody bag, event merchandise (something new every year), quality trophies, prizes, and an indoor awards ceremony that includes a real dinner with all the trimmings. The Kid's division is always our main focus and we bring each and every child to the stage, present them with a trophy or certificate and submit a group photo to statewide publications.
In addition, every year we try and add something extra that may include a tackle manufacture for added opportunities to win cash or prizes. Look for details at Fridays sign in.
We look forward to seeing you at the Bridgeport Trout Tournament on June 22nd, 2013.Thank you for your continued support!!
